Here are some recent photos from events that RTO members have arranged.

At 7:00 p.m. on June 11, 2010, The Chalkbusters, eleven members of RTO Unit 18, Haliburton, set out to walk overnight at the Relay for Life. They not only walked through torrential rains, sloshing through water over their shoes, but raised $3535 for the Canadian Cancer Society to help with research and local assistance such as transportation. We challenge other RTO members to form teams in their own communities next year.

 

June 24th was a fine day for golfing, catching up with friends, and enjoying a delicious lunch. Thirty-six golfers participated in the "Best Ball" tournament at Sturgeon Point. Special congratulations go to the winners John McCrae, Ann Hurd, Helen Garner, and Jerry Ford. All participants were well looked after and all received prizes thanks to the efforts and great planning of Bob Ellis and Rich Brien.
