What is important to you and where their energy should be put? There are too many issues and they need to focus on the most important ones.
OT Survivor Benefits Group is a group of Pensioners that are not eligible for a survivor's pension as they have married after they retired. Provincial Executive is leery to touch this topic. Our district's response was that we've taken on too many other topics. Our reputation as activists needs support. We need to get more districts especially more influential districts involved to give them support in order to get the Provincial Executive to listen to this group.
Brian Kenney, the first VP may be one who will listen and do something when he becomes President. If anyone knows anyone in this situation they should get in touch with Ken Henderson at OTSBGroup@sympatico.ca
Louise Cooper gave the membership report. There are 183 members in the Unit.

RTO is lobbying the government to get the same benefits and Health plans as Government Bureaucrats.
RTO District 18 website has lots of info such as Home Security and Medical issues.
